From Success to Stewardship

Real Stories of Bold Transitions

Welcome to the Next Mountain Podcast 2025 Series

Through our research, we’ve seen a recurring pattern: After a major achievement, a company exit, a career peak, a successful venture, many accomplished leaders find themselves feeling restless, lonely, and uncertain about what comes next.

They’re ready to contribute to meaningful social and environmental change, but the transition from success to impact often feels slow, unclear, and isolating.

We believe it doesn’t have to be that way. We need more stories of bold, post-success transitions and more honest conversations to demystify this path.

This podcast shares those stories. Hosted by entrepreneurs Nathalia Del Moral Fleury and Marie-France Montpetit, The Next Mountain Podcast features intimate conversations with entrepreneurs, CEOs, and changemakers who have reached conventional success and chosen to climb a new kind of mountain, one rooted in purpose, contribution, and legacy.

Think:

  • Zita Cobb, who left the corporate world to return to Fogo Island and build a regenerative local economy rooted in place, craft, and culture

  • Douglas Tompkins and Kristine McDivitt, who moved from founding The North Face to dedicating their lives to large-scale nature conservation in South America

  • Emmanuel Faber, who pivoted from leading Danone to reshaping global sustainability standards through the ISSB

We’re here to explore the inner turning points behind those decisions, and to share honest, human stories that can inspire others to act with meaning.

If you know someone who embodies this spirit, or if you feel called to share your own story, we’d love to hear from you.

See below for more details on our 2025 Fall series.

With gratitude,

Marie-France & Nathalia
